Ryse Health FAQ's

Which patients are eligible for care at Ryse Health?

We focus exclusively on patients with type 2 diabetes. We do not provide services for type 1 diabetes. We do not provide services for other endocrine conditions, such as thyroid disease, except in patients who also have type 2 diabetes.

Is Ryse Health covered by insurance?

Yes! We’re in network with Medicare, Aetna, BlueCrossBlueShield, Cigna, Humana, and United Healthcare. If you have any questions about your insurance, call us at (571) 999-7973.

What’s the cost to me?

You’ll pay your standard copay or coinsurance for all of our services. You’ll also receive a continuous glucose monitor. If this is not covered by your health insurance, we’ll provide your first one free and help you find the lowest cost source for future devices.

Is Ryse Health in-person or virtual care?

We’re both! We want to make care as convenient and connected as possible. We’ll interact with you via our app, phone, video conference, or in person at our Arlington or Baltimore offices.
